Yes. We adjust pressure for the tile and grout and switch to soft washing for anything delicate, so the area is cleaned without cracking or etching.
It depends on the size and surface, so we give you a free, no-obligation quote first.
Mostly, yes. Fresh and moderate grease staining lifts well with the right treatment. Grease that has soaked into porous stone for years can leave a shadow, and we are always upfront about that before we start rather than after.
Only the heavy pieces if you are able, and even then we can usually work together on it. Light furniture, pots and mats we move ourselves and put back once the surface is clean. If a large setting genuinely cannot move, we clean around and under it as best as access allows.
Most patios and courtyards take two to four hours, depending on size, surface and how much furniture and detail work is involved. If we are also doing steps, edges or an adjoining path it may run longer. Your free quote comes with a realistic time estimate.
The same day. Once we have finished rinsing, the surface just needs to dry, which takes an hour or two in decent weather. There are no residues or curing times to wait for. Plenty of customers book us in the week before a party for exactly that reason.
Winter shade and damp are perfect for algae, which forms an invisible film that becomes genuinely slippery when wet. Shaded patios on the south side of the house are the classic case. Cleaning removes the film and restores grip, and treating the growth keeps it away much longer than washing alone.
Yes. We wet down and rinse pot plants and garden beds around the patio, move what can be moved, and keep our treatment on the surfaces being cleaned. Pets just need to be inside or away from the area while we work, and the patio is fine for paws as soon as it has been rinsed and dried.
Showers are fine, the patio gets thoroughly wet during cleaning regardless. We only reschedule for heavy rain or storms, which make rinsing and inspecting the finish difficult. If that happens we call you ahead of time and rebook the next clear day at no charge.
