No, sealing is not a service we offer. What we do is clean sandstone properly and safely, and the stone can simply be cleaned again as growth naturally returns. If you are considering sealing, get advice from a stone specialist. Our job is to bring the stone back to its best without harming it.

Yes, gently. Older and heritage stone has a softer, weathered face that high pressure would destroy, so it only ever gets our low-pressure treatment approach. We have cleaned plenty of older walls, pillars and steps across the Northern Beaches. If a piece of stone is too fragile to clean safely, we will say so rather than risk it.

Yes, managed properly. Sandstone almost always sits right in the garden, so we wet down the surrounding plants first, apply the treatment to the stone only, and rinse the greenery thoroughly afterwards. Ferns and delicate plants hard up against the stone can be covered while we work.
